Some desserts are really about contrast, and this one gets it just right. Cool, thick yogurt meets juicy berries, while walnuts and seeds bring a little crunch to every spoonful. It is simple enough for a quick weekday pudding but pretty enough to put in glasses for guests.

Ingredients

Tick the store-cupboard items you would like, then add them to your basket in one tap.

  • 700g full-fat Greek yogurt
    Local shop
  • 80g raspberries

  • 80g blueberries
    Local shop
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
    Local shop

Ticked items go to your Lean & Healthy basket. Fresh items like onions and herbs are best picked up from your local shop.

Method

Serves 4 · about 10 minutes from start to finish.

  1. Stir the vanilla into the yogurt until evenly mixed.

  2. Toast the walnuts and mixed seeds in a dry frying pan for 2-3 minutes over a low heat, just until they smell nutty, then leave them to cool.

  3. Divide half the yogurt between four small glasses or bowls.

  4. Scatter over half the berries and half the walnut and seed mixture, then spoon over the remaining yogurt.

  5. Finish with the rest of the berries and the crunchy topping, and serve straight away or chill for up to 2 hours.
